Autism: research.

I became fascinated by autism in February 2008 while watching the film The Black Balloon in Sydney. Throughout 2008/2009 I researched and wrote a dissertation about the visual thought of designers and its relation and parallels with autism and also produced several pieces of experimental work influenced by my writing. In 2010, research continues, as does a lot of cycling.

The writing is illustrated by photographer Rosie Barnes with images from her Understanding Stanley series.
